Brain Health Center of Excellence

The partnership between the Lundbeck Foundation and BioInnovation Institute (BII) aims to create new groundbreaking treatments for brain diseases. It seeks to strengthen collaboration between the university environment and the start-up ecosystem by investing in research talents.

This requires establishing strong collaboration and engagement between basic research at universities and hospitals, start-ups, and the life sciences industry.

As part of the partnership, BII and the Lundbeck Foundation expect to support a total of 20–22 companies over a period of 5.5 years. The center will be integrated into BII.
