Younger health science researchers are awarded Talent Prizes and Young Investigator Prize

"At the Lundbeck Foundation, it is important for us to recognize the contributions of these very talented researchers. They deserve to be rewarded for their outstanding efforts in areas that have brought new knowledge in basic research and results that can lead to a better understanding of diseases and hopefully, one day, better treatment options for patients. We also hope the prize winners will inspire others on their way to becoming researchers", says Jan Egebjerg, Scientific Director of the Lundbeck Foundation.
The Lundbeck Foundation Young Investigator Prize 2023 for the year's younger researcher is worth DKK 1 million, of which DKK 700,000 is earmarked for research, while the rest is a personal award.
Five researchers under the age of 30 each receive a Lundbeck Foundation Talent Prize in the form of DKK 200,000 earmarked for research, as well as DKK 100,000 as a personal prize.
