Mette Eistrøm Krüger is new SVP Corporate Affairs in the Lundbeck Foundation

The Lundbeck Foundation is pleased to announce that, as of 1 March 2025, Mette Eistrøm Krüger will join as the new SVP of Corporate Affairs. In this role, she will oversee the Foundation’s comprehensive HR, public affairs, and communications activities, as well as its strategic processes.
Starting from the new year, Lundbeck Foundation will strengthen its organisation by appointing Mette Eistrøm Krüger, who will take on the role of SVP Corporate Affairs no later than 1 March. With overall responsibility for the Foundation’s HR, public affairs, communications, and strategic processes, she will play a central role in further developing the Foundation’s internal operations and strengthening its external relations.
The Lundbeck Foundation is experiencing a period of positive growth, with a significant expansion of its initiatives in recent years, an influx of talented new employees, and the advancement of its 2030 strategy, Bringing Discoveries to Lives.
With the appointment of Mette Eistrøm Krüger as the new SVP Corporate Affairs, overseeing HR, public affairs, communications, and strategic processes, the Foundation reinforces its organisation and paves the way forward. The aim is to continue developing the Foundation as an attractive workplace while ensuring that its role as an open and active societal player, creating long-term value for research, the life sciences ecosystem, and Danish society, remains strong.

Mette Eistrøm Krüger will begin her new position no later than 1 March 2025, joining the Foundation’s senior leadership team and reporting to Lene Skole.
A strong profile with broad experience
Mette Eistrøm Krüger, 52, lives in Rungsted with her husband. She has three adult children and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from Aalborg University. She joins the Foundation from Telenor, where she has been employed since 2000 (with a brief period at TDC in 2007) and became part of Telenor Denmark’s executive management in 2016. Today, she has Nordic responsibility at Telenor for HR, Communications, and Public Affairs. In 2021, she was awarded the HR-award for her work in setting a clear direction and defining a strong leadership language for the company
