Catarina Dias, Danish Cancer Society, has been awarded a postdoc research grant from Lundbeck Foundation worth DKK 2,500,000.

In her project, she will study how neurons in the brain can repair their protective plasma membrane – e.g. after head trauma or attack by disease-related protein toxicity in connection with neurodegenerative disorders.

Part of the project will be conducted in Lisbon, Portugal, at Cell Fitness, Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown.
