POSTDOC
Jan Heiner Driller, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University, has been awarded a postdoc research grant from Lundbeck Foundation worth DKK 1,600,000.
His project focuses on choline, which forms the foundation for half of the lipids in cellular membranes. Choline plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of, among other things, the central nervous system. However, how choline is absorbed in cellular membranes is in many ways still a mystery.
