Mohammad Al-Mahdi Al-Karagholi, Danish Headache Center, Department of Neurology Rigshospitalet Glostrup, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, has been awarded Early-Career Clinician Scientist grant worth DKK 1.568.145
His project investigates the involvement of glutamate and its receptors in migraine pathophysiology. He will examine the effect of monosodium glutamate in individuals diagnosed with migraine with aura and individuals diagnosed with migraine without aura using a series of magnetic resonance imaging.
