The focus of SOMULTIMATE is to provide comprehensive insights into the extent and patterns of somatic multimorbidity, the coexistence of two or more chronic physical illnesses, across the entire spectrum of mental disorders, as well as to capture the precise impact of somatic multimorbidity on mortality in people with mental disorders. To achieve these objectives, SOMULTIMATE will develop novel methodologies and apply them on Danish national, population-based data.
