This project is aimed at developing novel high-throughput sequencing technologies to unveil how multiple epigenetic modifiers associate on singular DNA molecules during neuronal development and maturation. If successful, those technologies will enable us to map dynamically changing chromatin signatures over time and to identify genomic regulatory regions that are particularly important in key gene regulatory dynamics during neurogenesis, whose disruption is prone to lead to neurological diseases.
