POSTDOC
Diba Borgmann, student, Centre for Active Health, Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen, has been awarded a postdoc research grant from Lundbeck Foundation worth DKK 1,986,912.
Her project seeks to expand our understanding of how physical activity helps the brain to counteract excessive energy intake through food. It is well-known that physical activity has this appetite-regulating effect – and consequently plays a positive role in the prevention of diseases typically associated with obesity.
What is less understood is the specific process behind the effect. This is what Diba Borgmann will be studying in her project.
