Mammalian transcriptomes dynamically change during cell differentiation to establish cell-specific identities. ARS2 protein constitutes the central node of RNA sorting through mutually exclusive interactions with partner proteins to define the set of functional RNAs in the cell at each moment. This project aims to study the role of ARS2 transcriptional connection, in both early and neuron-specific stem cell differentiation, to understand how ARS2 shapes transcriptomes during cell differentiation.
