Mapping the connectome of the rodent brain using chemical label free optical neuroimaging
Tim Dyrby, associate professor, Compute, Technical University of Denmark, has been awarded a Lundbeck Foundation LF Experiments research grant worth DKK 1,861,353.
In his project, he will be using a special technique for 3D imaging – mapping – of the brain’s entire neural connection landscape. The technique will be used on laboratory animals and the results should give us a better understanding of the impact of brain disorders on the brain’s nervous system.
