Artificial Intelligence: From Mind to Machine
Join us for the premiere of “Artificial Intelligence: From Mind to Machine” – a documentary that tells the remarkable story of how research into the brain paved the way to one of the most revolutionary technological advances in history, AI.
Following the film, there will be a discussion moderated by Christiane Vejlø with AI expert and prof., Serge Belongie, and film director Kasper Bielefeldt. Drinks and snacks are served in the foyer from 7 PM.

About the film:
Artificial Intelligence: From Mind to Machine sheds light on how the quest to understand the brain inspired the development of artificial neural networks, machine learning and today’s artificial intelligence.
The documentary is inspired by the groundbreaking research of the 2024 Brain Prize winners. Originally trained in physics, these three visionary scientists moved into neuroscience in the 1980s, using their skills in physics to understand the brain.
Their pioneering work led to the development of an entirely new field, theoretical and computational neuroscience. This new field transformed our understanding of the brain and laid the foundations for the development of artificial intelligence.
This inspiring documentary traces the origins and development of AI, exploring its roots in neuroscience and its modern applications in understanding and treating brain disorders. It also reveals how close AI is to achieving human-level intelligence, providing thought-provoking perspectives on our future with this transformative technology.
