Christopher Rohde, Aarhus University Hospital, has been awarded an Early-Career Clinician Scientist Grant of DKK 1.796.868
This project investigates the effectiveness of treatments for preventing mood episode relapses in bipolar disorder. It focuses on three areas: lithium or antidepressants following electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), the long-term impact of lithium on suicide risk, and the most effective treatments after discontinuing lithium. We will use advanced statistical methods, and the aim is to guide clinical practices and improve patient outcomes.
