Hendes projekt har til formål at forstå, hvordan astroglia påvirker søvnafhængige hukommelsesprocesser under fysiologiske forhold og som reaktion på stress.
En del af projektet vil blive udført ved Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Weill Institute for Neurosciences, University of California San Francisco, USA.
